Dear Internet,

This site was originally intended to showcase my many creative endeavors. However—and this was my mistake—I chose to use my real name. Apart from simply liking my name, I thought that using it would attract more people to this site, since I’m somewhat of a public figure being a teacher.

Unfortunately, while the site became more popular, I felt every word I published could potentially be scrutinized and used against me, and that stifled me creatively, at least within the realm of this dot-com. I no longer felt free to say anything really. So I stopped. Soon after, other (very very good) events in my life inspired me to further separate my public and private lives even more.

It is for these reasons that, as the year 2007 winds down, I am discontinuing this blog and all other JohnSadauskas.com-related material.

This does not mean, however, that I’m discontinuing my creative genius. I do, in fact, plan on finding a new corner of the internet to do my bidding. I’m just going to put it somewhere you can’t find it.

Thanks so much to everyone who has supported this site over the years. It means the world to me that you enjoy what I do, and reaffirms to me that I actually am pretty good at it.
